New Jersey Audubon is recruiting Citizen Scientists for the 2010 Grassland Bird Survey. This project is a collaborative effort between NJA and NJDEP, Endangered and Nongame Species Program, to examine the effects of management activities on grassland bird populations throughout the state.
Citizen Scientists are required to attend one training session in April, and then visit their survey site three times - once to scout their assigned points and determine access, and twice for bird surveys (once between May 15-31 and again between June 1-15). If you would to participate or receive more information, please contact Kristin Mylecraine (kristin.mylecraine@njaudubon.org).
