Triple C Ranch And Nature Center gets Monarch Way Station and Humming Bird Haven By Robert P. Spiegel

The Triple C Ranch and Nature Center ( located in the heart of the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area is getting a face lift and will be reopening Saturday July 18, 2016.

In addition to new and better parking areas and trails, we also have a self-guided Arboretum done by Girl Scout Michelle Hsieh ( for her Gold Award Scout Project, and a Hummingbird Haven and Monarch Way station.
The Humming Bird Haven is just about complete with Humming birds already showing up thanks to Girl Scout Krista and mother Sharon shown below working non-stop to build the Humming bird Haven next to one of our bird blinds.

Michele Lawrence Botto also in photo is one amazing person.  She has been coordinating and assisting in the development of more than 8 gardens at the Triple C ranch and Nature Center.  She also chairs the Terra Nova Garden Club teen program.

We hope to see all our members and friends at the Triple C Ranch and Nature Center reopening on July 18, 2016.
